Files and document contents

HugPDF processes selected files locally in your browser. The files, filenames, passwords and extracted document text are not sent to our servers. Processing data is released when you close or reload the page.

Browser storage

We may store your language and consent preferences in local storage. This information remains in your browser until you clear it.

Analytics

If privacy-preserving analytics are enabled in the future, we may record aggregate events such as which tool opened or whether processing succeeded. We will not include filenames, document contents, passwords or extracted text.

Advertising and cookies

The current version reserves locations for advertising but does not load AdSense until a valid publisher account and an appropriate consent setup are configured. If ads are activated, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies according to their policies. Where required, a Google-certified consent management platform will be shown before personalized advertising is enabled.

Your choices

You can clear local preferences from your browser settings. You can also use browser privacy controls or decline optional advertising storage when a consent choice is presented.
